Cava and Monsterrat

We leave in the morning and drive to the Alt Penedés, a beautiful landscape with rolling hills and endless vineyards. The jagged rocks of the Montserrat Mountains shimmer impressively on the horizon.
The winery we visit is an old Catalan family business, where the best wines have been grown and pressed for generations. There we meet a friendly guide from the winery who will explain to us how cava is made during a tour of the 500-year-old bodega. We visit the endlessly long tunnels and labyrinthine cellars, which were carved deep underground into the limestone, and stroll past wine barrels and cava bottles through art nouveau storage and production halls.
Towards the end of the tour we taste various cavas and local delicacies.
Strengthened (and perhaps a little tipsy) we drive to Montserrat. There we will arrange the rest of the day according to your wishes.  We can listen to the famous children's choir and visit the Moreneta in the basilica.

We walk along well maintained and safe paths to a viewpoint where we have a delicious picnic. We will then adapt the walks to your needs. (from easy to medium )
